Hana is an Indonesian journalist, writer and editor whose body of work explores the intersection of arts, culture and humanity. Her experience includes writing a line-up of in-depths and longer pieces with narrative journalism as the approach, which expects her writing to be not only compelling but also precise, beautiful and easy to read. Her love for literature and journalism stems from her early exposure to written texts and publication she encountered in childhood.
Today, she has published and written for respected local publications, namely Manual Jakarta, The Jakarta Post, media and music collective Studiorama as well as London-based online magazine Res Publica. She is now pursuing her master's degree in Literature and Philosophy at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
